Record and preserve cultural heritage

College of Politics and Governance (COPAG) has held a project to record and preserve intangible cultural heritage such as local folklore, traditions, language, and knowledge from “Sim” (Buddhist church) and “Hoop-taem” (wall painting on Buddhist stories) at Dongbung district, Mahasarakham province since 2016 until the present day. This cultural project is the medium or tool to bring together the villagers in the communities to build a stronger society.

COPAG held many activities and created many cultural pieces such as a short film on Sim and Hoop-taem and history and culture of Dongbung community in order to publicize this project and to create local curriculum and local information for local guides.
